The Butterfly Pattern

Here is such a butterfly pattern I wove with those sparkles emanating from those rays of hope, criss-crossing my unknown route into an imaginary pattern. I could not name it for naming it would be to draw a line through imaginary dotted spots. So I wove it, naively as I oft have done in the past. I wove it with soft colourful whispers using a thousand colours that butterflies are made of and painted a collage of those unspoken thoughts.
The Man of My Dreams

For he lies within me, in my thoughts
For he was born the day my thoughts were borne of you
For he was created with the thoughts that sprung from my hopes and aspirations
The man of my dreams is nowhere to be found but within me
For he will be strong if I am strong
For he will be quirky if I am so
For he will be handsome if my thoughts are beautiful
For he will be courageous if I am brave
For he will be living as long as I breathe life into you
The man of my dreams is nowhere to be found but within me
The day you reach out for me, us will be born
For he will have read those thoughts I created
For he will have sought what I have been seeking
For he will have made those mistakes when I have erred
For he will look exactly the thoughts that I have shaped of you
For he will have reached out when I reach out to you
For he would have believed my complete faith in you
The man of my dreams is nowhere to be found but within me!
and when concrete jungles stifle you
It's been more than a year that I started this blog but have not been able to get back to it this year because of the fast-slowing stream of events that caught the better of me and stopped my creative juices from flowing. But now faced with the poignant reality I have decided to return to my jungle adventures and stories, ones that bring out the best in me. The difference is that I am not living in nature at the moment. It's a different kind of jungle out here, a different circus where one has to be careful of the snares around you all the time waiting to entrap you at the most unguarded moment. In a sense, you can be as unsuspecting as a grazing spotted dear innocently foraging in your familiar grassland terrain when all of a sudden you could sense a pair of eyes watching you, waiting for you to be caught by surprise..because they are predators..wanting to hunt you down! Yes, this is the real world of humans...the concrete jungle as I call it. Welcome to the deceptive world of manimals!
